THE SEVEN DANGEROUS habits
DON'T ACT THE 7 ACTIONS BELOW AFTER YOU HAVE A MEAL
Dont Smoke - Experiment from experts proves that smoking a cigarette after meal is comparable to smoking 10 cigarettes (chances of cancer is higher).
Don't eat fruits immediately - Immediately eating fruits after meals will cause stomach to be blo ated with air. Therefore take fruit 1-2 hr after meal or 1hr before meal.
Don't walk about - People always say that after a meal walk a hundred steps and you will live till 99. In actual fact this is not true. Walking will cause the digestive system to be unable to absorb the nutrition from the food we intake.
Don't loosen your belt - Loosening the belt after a meal will easily cause the intestine to be twisted & blocked.

Weirdest Animals
There are many wierd animals in this world which we have never seen before. Below are some of the near extinct species on earth.
The Pygmy Marmoset is a monkey native to the rainforest canopies of western Brazil , southeastern Colombia , eastern Ecuador , and eastern Peru . It is one of the smallest primates, with its body length ranging from 14-16 cm (excluding the 15-20 cm tail) and the smallest monkey. Males weigh around 140 g (5 ounces), and females only 120 g ( 4.2 ounces). The Pygmy Marmoset has a tawny coat, and a ringed tail that can be as long as its body. Their claws are specially adapted for climbing trees. They are omnivorous, feeding on fruit, leaves, insects, and sometimes even small reptiles. Much of their diet, however, comes from tapping trees for sap. Unfortunately, because of its small size, and its swift movements, it is very hard to observe in the wild. The Pygmy Marmoset can live up to 11 years.
Kiwa hirsuta is a crustacean discovered in 2005 in the South Pacific Ocean . This decapod, which is approximately 15 cm (6 inches) long, is notable for the quantity of silky blond setae (resembling fur) covering its pereiopods (thoracic legs, including claws). Its discoverers dubbed it the "yeti lobster" or "yeti crab".The animal has strongly reduced eyes that lack pigment, and is thought to be blind. The 'hairy' pincers contain filamentous bacteria, which the creature may use to detoxify poisonous minerals from the water emitted by the hydrothermal vents where it lives. Alternatively, it may feed on the bacteria, although it is thought to be a general carnivore. Its diet also consists of green algae and small shrimp.
The blobfish (Psychrolutes marcidus) is a fish that inhabits the deep waters off the coasts of Australia and Tasmania . Due to the inaccessibility of its habitat, it is rarely seen by humans. Blobfish are found at depths where the pressure is several dozens of times higher than at sea level, which would likely make gas bladders inefficient. To remain buoyant, the flesh of the blobfish is primarily a gelatinous mass with a density slightly less than water; this allows the fish to float above the sea floor without expending energy on swimming. The relative lack of muscle is not a disadvantage as it primarily swallows edible matter that floats by in front it.
Frill-necked Lizard
The Frill-necked Lizard also known as the Frilled Dragon, (Chlamydosaurus kingii) is so called because of the large ruff of skin which usually lies folded back against its head and neck. The neck frill is supported by long spines of cartilage, and when the lizard is frightened, it gapes its mouth showing a bright pink or yellow lining, and the frill flares out, displaying bright orange and red scales. The frill may also aid in thermoregulation. They may grow up to one metre in total length. They often walk quadrupedally when on the ground. When frightened they begin to run on all-fours and then accelerate onto the hind-legs. Males are significantly larger than females both as juveniles and when mature. The frill of the Australian frilled dragon is used to frighten off potential predators - as well as hissing and lunging. If this fails to ward off the threat, the lizard flees bipedally to a nearby tree where it climbs to the top and relies on camouflage to keep it hidden.
The octopuses of the genus Grimpoteuthis are sometimes nicknamed "Dumbo octopuses" from the ear-like fins protruding from the top of their "heads" (actually bodies), resembling the ears of Walt Disney's flying elephant. They are benthic creatures, living at extreme depths, and are some of the rarest of the Octopoda species.
The Axolotl (or ajolote) is the best-known of the Mexican neotenic mole salamanders belonging to the Tiger Salamander complex. The species originates from the lake underlying Mexico City . Axolotls are used extensively in scientific research due to their ability to regenerate most body parts, ease of breeding, and large embryos. They are commonly kept as pets in the United States , Great Britain , Australia , Japan (where they are sold under the name Wooper Rooper, and other countries.
Nasalis larvatus also known as Long-nosed Monkey is a reddish-brown arboreal Old World monkey. It is the only species in monotypic genus Nasalis. The most distinctive trait of this monkey is the male's large protruding nose. The purpose of the large nose is unclear. The female Proboscis Monkey prefers big-nosed males, thus propagating the trait. Males are much larger than females, reaching 72 cm (28 inches) in length, with an up to 75 cm tail, and weighing up to 24 kg (53 pounds). Females are up to 60 cm long, weighing up to 12 kg (26 lb). The Proboscis Monkey also has a large belly, as a result of its diet. Its digestive system is divided into several parts, with distinctive gut flora, which help in digesting leaves. This digestive process releases a lot of gas, resulting in the monkey's "bloated" bellies. A side-effect of this unique digestive system is that it is unable to digest ripe fruit, unlike most other simians. The diet consists mainly of fruits, seeds and leaves.
The Star-nosed Mole (Condylura cristata) is a small North American mole found in eastern Canada and the north-eastern United States . It lives in wet lowland areas and eats small invertebrates, aquatic insects, worms and molluscs. It is a good swimmer and can forage along the bottoms of streams and ponds. Like other moles, this animal digs shallow surface tunnels for foraging; often, these tunnels exit underwater. The mole's most distinctive feature is a circle of 22 mobile, pink, fleshy tentacles at the end of the snout. These are used to identify food by touch, such as worms, insects and crustaceans.
The Red Panda is a mostly herbivorous mammal, slightly larger than a domestic cat (55 cm long). The Red Panda has semi-retractile claws and, like the Giant Panda, has a "false thumb" which is really an extension of the wrist bone. Thick fur on the soles of the feet offers protection from cold and hides scent glands. It is native to the Himalayas in Nepal and southern China . The word panda is derived from Nepalese word "ponya" which means bamboo and plants eating animals in Nepal .
The Angora rabbit is a variety of domestic rabbit bred for its long, soft hair. The Angora is one of the oldest types of domestic rabbit, originating in Ankara , Turkey , along with the Angora cat and Angora goat. They first appeared in the United States in the early 1900s. They are bred largely for their long wool, which may be removed by shearing or plucking (gently pulling loose wool).
Females are 27 inches (69cm) at the withers. Male Komondorok are a minimum of 28 inches at the withers, but many are over 30 inches tall, making this one of the larger common breeds of dog. The body is not overly coarse or heavy, however, and people unfamiliar with the breed are often surprised by how quick and agile the dogs are. Its long, thick, strikingly corded white coat resembles dreadlocks or a mop. Shedding is very minimal with this breed, contrary to what one might think (once cords are fully formed). The only substantial shedding occurs as a puppy before the dreadlocks fully form. The Komondor is born with only a white coat, unlike the similar-looking Puli, which is usually white, black or sometimes grayish. However, a working Komondor's coat may be discolored by the elements, and may appear off-white if not washed regularly.

This is Real Painting not Photograghy
Painting of Tica by Dru Blair
After a couple of hours of color adjustment, approximately 10 hour. At this stage, detail has not been added to the face, because it is best to wait until all the colors are correct first.
There are many areas still to be corrected. For example, one of the front teeth is too dark. The arm is also to dark at the edges. It usually wait until the very end to introduce skin and hair texture.
This is a painting completed in February 2005. It was a Portrait Class project which took a total of around 65-75 hours to complete. The small images are step by step photographs taken during the painting process, and the large image is the final painting after detail and skin texture are added with an eraser and colored pencil. The main colors are blocked in at the beginning, but refinement is withheld until the very end.
Detail of final painting showing skin texture. Subtle nuances created by an xacto knife, an eraser, and some colored pencil can build convincing skin texture. The etcetera technique also helps the believability of the skin and hair texture. Fine hair is created using shield-reveal technique, and split frisket technique. Airbrush constitutes about 99% of the image.
Ian, Dru and Darryl pose in front of the Tica original painting during the April 05 Workshop.
About this painting
This painting started as an exercise for a portrait workshop . It was taken with a digital photograph of a local model (Tica) with a Nikon Coolpix 8700, then printed on an Epson 9600 printer. The goal was to work from reference that provided great lighting, good detail, and accurate skin tones.
Tica has incredible skin, with a challenging range of colors. As it turned out, the range of colors in her skin proved to be a little overwhelming. Normally, it takes about 7 or 8 colors to recreate an individual's skin palette,However with Tica, it's necessary to mix around 20 different colors to capture her range of color. There were also a few interesting artifacts introduced by the digital camera such as a blue halo around the earring.
Art is the selective re-creation or conversion of reality by the human mind into concrete imagery according to an artist's metaphysical value judgments. Real or imagined concepts are filtered and altered through the human mind to the artist's hand to create an image or sound that did not exist before. The reason photography does not qualify as art is that the process removes the filter of the human mind as an interpretative element. Although photography requires technical skill, in the final analysis it is only a mechanical recording of reality.

The ear - what is "normal" and "abnormal"?
Are people staring at your ears?
Are they too big and ugly?
Are both sides the same?
There are many factors that go into making the ear look balanced and "normal." When our ears look awkward or too big, we tend to hide them with our hair if your hair is long enough to cover it. People who feel uncomfortable about their ear problems are generally more cooperative when come to treatment and they are often happy with the result. Children usually are among these group of people. Stay alert to the child's feelings and do not insist on the surgery until your child wants the change. An early evaluation can be a good teaching experience of what surgery has to offer.
Ears are usually fully grown by the age of four years. The best way to find out about your external ears is during an in office consultation. Specialist can then help you explore the possible plastic surgery (otoplasty) options. There are many types of ear surgery to reshape and correct the various type of deformities.
Otoplasty - The Problem
Otoplasty (Reduction Surgery for Protruding Ears ) Ears stick out from the head and when they excessively protrude, the deformity can be very disturbing. Otoplasty surgery simply mean a number of operations to resculpt and reshape the ear.
The ear that sticks out too much is often being the attention of being focus at. People stare at the deformity. Kids tease and can be cruel at times. Nicknames of all kinds such as “Dumbo” or “Mickey Mouse” are being hurl at. These are the usual people for this operation, but the surgery can be done at any age. Although hair styles can cover the ears, this is not always convenient . Either a single ear or both ears may be involved.
AMAZING WORK OF A "NEW EAR" FORMATION..

TATOO
History of Tatoo.
Tattoos have been found on Egyptian mummies dating from about 2000 BC. During the Romans empire slaves and criminals are tatooed to differenciate them.
In the 19th century, released U.S. Convicts and British army deserters were identified by tattoos, and later the inmates of Siberian prisons and Nazi concentration camps were similarly marked.
People will do anything for the sake of beauty. Body tattoo is still popular among the teenages and there are tatoo painting which will last for a couple of week on your body at a small cost of your choice of tattoo like the one above.
After the coming of Christianity, tattooing was forbidden in Europe, but it still continue in the Middle East and in other parts of the world.
Members of 20th-century street or motorcycle gangs frequently identify themselves with a tattooed design. During the late 19th century, tattooing had a short vogue among both sexes in the English upper classes.
Tattooing is moribund or extinct in most parts of the world, except for special medical applications and Euro American and Japanese types, which were the subjects of a renewal of interest in the 1990s. In recent times the practice had gained popularity with many cultures. You may find just about anyone from any walk of life may have a tattoo either hidden or in a prominent position.
Today's world is full of surprises. Human nature dare to be different and more artistic and would sacrify the extend of pain for the pleaure of satisfaction in life.

Pearl Harvest.
When the actual harvest begins the pearls are brought to shore from their mooring positions. The pearls are then opened individually and the pearl or pearls extracted. In the case of akoya oysters and freshwater mussels the shell and meat is discarded or used for another purpose. South Sea oysters, however, are harvested in much the same fashion as the nucleation. These oysters are opened very slightly, the pearl is extracted, and another is placed into the preformed pearl sac. This oyster than goes through another recovery period and is placed back into the sea to grow another pearl.
After all the pearls are harvested they are then cleaned of debris and polished to bring out a higher luster.
After the pearls have been cleaned and polished they are then sorted by quality and size categories
Many of these pearls may then go through further treatment depending on the type of pearl and the factory preparing the finished goods. The pearls may be bleached, heat treated, and pinked (soaked in red dye to enhance the pink coloration of the pearls).A good harvest is determined by the number of marketable pearls produced in relation to the number of oysters which had been nucleated.
Of these marketable pearls the more pearls that are considered high-quality have a direct influence on the success of the enterprise. On average only half of the pearls will be marketable, and less than 10% of these will be considered top-quality.
